I wouldn’t pay anything remotely close to his starting bid price of $1,500.

Someone posted about one on here a year or so ago.

I've got the same type upper in 7.62x25. and takes pps43 mags out the side instead of sten mags.

I agree not worth even 1/2 the starting bid.

Paid 300 in 2017 for the used one i got.

FWIW as a Lanchester owner I must point out that Sten mags are no longer as cheap or plentiful as they once were and many of those available are cast-offs that didn't work very reliably for the previous owner(s). They are also a PITA to load. Buying an upper conversion that uses them seems a bit wrong-headed especially at that price

That is a brand new Lage upper with many newly made magazines money-wise. No way to attach optics, no customer service. To each his own.

As a photographer, I'm trained to look for the direction of the light. I'm disappointed to see the shadows covering the connection between the mag well and the upper in the artical. It looks pretty rough. How did they connect the aluminum receiver to the steel magwell? Bubble gum?

I love the idea. I would want one in 45 with DF Thompson mags. I just would want one with a steel lower and upper.
