I'm curious if it can be confirmed that dimensionally the Galil Micro parts (minus stock and handguard) could be used as a host for a micro kit build.
There isn't much I can find on the subject but what I do find is they are similar, except for stock hinge cuts for the micro and the dimensional differences in the front (removed material) to allow for the Micro hand guards and weight reduction.

I know there are Micro receivers at Hillbillyfirearms, but have a standard one on hand to play with. Considering a micro kit.

Thanks for any help someone can offer.

So... say an original IMI Galil MR336, FA .308, to say a Galil 12" .308... what Master Gun Smith would really have the skills to pull that off with Perfection? -NO shade tree hack job/no amateurs.
