The LONG wait is finally over. 1 year 2 days from the check being cashed.

Took it for a spin just now. Pure adrenaline!!!! Not for the faint of heart. It ate everything I fed it. Going to have a black eye from the stock but it was soooo worth it.

If you haven't shot one and get an opportunity, do not pass it up.

Bill

B-G closed bolt Matt.
All the bits and pieces. Correct markings, sights, cocking handle, stock, bayo lug, compensated 5.25 barrel, sling and sling swivel.
Came out just how I wanted it.
Need to look at getting a fastfire or something to get my face off of the stock.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
Bill

Hi Bill,
Who did all the work on your micro bolt host?

A local guy. Wouldn't recommend him thought. I spend HOURS fixing his sloppy work. Good thing was everything I needed to fix was "proud" so I had metal to work with. Got lucky.
There is a guy in Carrolton TX that use to work with Urbach. Ive seen some of his welding and remark on a full size.
If I were doing it again, I would talk to him and be very specific on marking location etc..
If you need his name, let me know and Ill find it for you.

Congrats. She looks like tons of fun. I remember when my stamps came in finally. It made me remember what it was like to be a kid on Christmas morning...

Looks great. Congrats on the micro sights & cocking handle. Don’t see those pop up much. Did you SBR the pistol, or just wait for the bolt and then attach the stock?

Are those the night sights you mentioned a while back?
Got a picture of what those look like?

Matt,
I sold the night sights to a local guy that was finishing up a Micro he bought as a RR pistol. He wanted all the correct bits and pieces.
The tritium was dead but there were 2 viles in the rear and one in the front post. Sorry, no pic. I can't believe I didn't take one.
I have the Micro rear peep and round tapered post.

You saw the HTA RR on GB. I did as well. It will probable bring big bucks.
I had one of those years ago. Vector cut the trunnion so open bolt feet would slide under. Had both closed and open bolt setups.
Huge difference in cycle rate on the two. That is the one that "got away".

That looks awesome! What bayonet lug adapter and foregrip is that?
GG&G 1543 - Short Vertical Grip
KZ Bayonet Lug Mount KZ-952488

I REALLY don't like the way the mounts are secured with one tensioned set screw on the bottom soooo, if you look in the 1st pic, you will see where I drilled and installed a horizontal roll pin in the back so there is no way for the mount to slip forward. IMO this is an absolute must given that the gun is violent and your hand is so close to the muzzle..
Hope this helps.

I'm weird. I actually put the wide pistol grips on mine. I understand why they put those on the semi pistol. I just like the look.
Unfortunately I have never found anyone that can do mine the way I want it. I like the original Action Arms matte smooth epoxy paint. BWE was going to years ago but he was always so backed up.
Yours looks very close to original. If anyone knows someone that can do one that way and not backed up a year or more I'd love to know?
Nice score!
