I have the Max11 setup on my M11/9. I am currently running a Thompson buttstock but it isn't worth a poop with the sights.

Show me what you guys are running with a Lage upper, where you got it, and what you like about it. I am thinking about a folder but am hoping for some suggestions.

Thanks guys..........heres mine..........

I have a Lage sidefolder. It is rock solid, and long (which I like). It works great with optics, but is just a tad high for optimum iron sight use... I can acquire the irons, but have to scrunch down on the stock real tight to do so. Here are some pics.

By the way, where did you get that long mag ? Is it a regular M11/9 mag or a Sten/Lanchester mag ?

I'd go with the light side folder. Some stocks can get in the way of the action when folded. That one looks like it would be ok.

Thanks for the response. I like UL stock and you are right, it should clear the ejection port.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

StealthyBlagga......Can the weapon be fired with the stock folded? I like that setup and will most likely order one. The mag in my gun is actually 2 sten mags which have been joined by Bustoff. He hangs over on Subguns and he does great work. That mag holds about 55 rounds.

Yes, the Lage sidefolder is designed so you can fire the gun with the stock folded (assuming you have the original standard MAX-11 cocking knob rather than the optional extended one).

Thanks for the info about the mag... any chance you could PM me Bustoff's contact info ?

OK, I admit that this might not be the most conventional setup but it works! The stock is surprisingly comfortable and it puts the carry handle sight right at eye level. The whole setup is very controllable and reminds me of something from Starship Troopers! I like to call it my FAMAC due to it's resemblance to the FAMAS rifle...

Here is the FAMAC...

And the FAMAS...notice the family resemblance...

I have the same set up as Trigger on my Max-11, but use the Ace AKFX super short stock. It is the same design and manufacture as Trigger’s stock only shorter. The overall length of my setup (stock, folding mechanism and LAGE Mfg adapter to attach the ACE stock to the M-11, all combined) is the same as the overall length of the LAGE Mfg's fixed stock. The questionable downside to my setup is that my Max-11 will not function with the stock folded. I will correct that in the future.

I would post pics, but I am still image posting challenged.

Ace stock (and son)

AR15 entry stock, set up non-folding.
The cheek weld is a little nicer with the larger, padded top tube
