I have one of the Eagle Industries SMG rigs for my UZI pistol www.eagleindustries.com. Works quite well with a jacket or flannel shirt. Not that I need it that much, but it is a good feeling knowing if it gets that rough, you do have some serious back-up. 
With a 20 round mag in the gun and 2- 32 round mags, it's a formidable "weapons system". I just had to do a little "smithing" to allow for the attachment point(it's easier on a HK,like in the picture),but it has a great 'quick release' feature.
