Nah,not to heavy. Uzi grip mod(ONLY WAY TO GO!!!!!) and front grip is Magpul. Oops almost forgot. Swap out upper and I can also shoot 45acp )

Back years ago, I originally made an Mp5 folder stock from one of keepshooting.com steel M10 AR15 adapter that I milled the round buffer tube attachment off and then drilled and tapped it to accept the Choate folder.

In all fairness, it worked really well.

But not being able to leave well enough alone, I now have a magpul ctr stock on it, which I like too.

Since I have 3 other guns that use uzi mags, I've thought about driving down and having Sam convert my mac over to them too. Probably would make my life a lot easier.

Can the Uzi conversion be done on a single feed M10? I assume I will need a double feed bolt? Will the feed ramp need to be changed? Whats the turn around time? So you can use Uzi 9mm mags and Uzi 45cal mags, change out the upper to 45 and run it? I bet I could finance the conversion by selling my 9mm mags

This should answer most of your questions. Turn around time is usually a few weeks to a month depending upon sams workload?
