The situation: I already have a full size FA Vector Uzi. Want to buy a second.

The choices: NIB full size vs. mini Vector (not interested in other "toys," i.e., HK, M16 at this time).

The question: Which should I get? I like the mini because I like the way it fits in my hands and it complements my other Vector, but for resale (I hope it'll never come to that), the full size probably has broader appeal because of its multicaliber capability and handling.

Thanks for your advice.

PbRx,
Hi, and welcome!
For what its worth...if I were in your position I think I'd go with the Mini. If you already have a "Full size" Vector I think it would be nice to have one of each of the styles. But that's just my opinion. You stated that you liked the way the Mini felt? Buy what you like! you'll enjoy it more and you won't have the " I wish I hads".

PbRx, my .02 on it. Full size will appeal to larger group than the mini. Multi-caliber is nice feature... even the Vector mini's are registered in 22/9/45. We could see 45 conversion kits coming down the road for the mini. Not many registered mini's out there. This brings in the rule of supply and demand. I would say if you already have a full size and had the money to purchase a mini I would go that route.

If it was me, and I only have the options you mentioned, I'd get the Mini. As they say, "spice is the variety of life." Why buy something you already have? But at the same time, I never buy a machinegun thinking of "investment" or "resale." I buy a machinegun to fill the "gotta have" need.

Good luck with your decision,
Dan

Another opinion for the mini. As others have stated, the mini may not currently have all the same calibers available, but that could change. And as stated, there are fewer of them and may go up more in price over the years. Not to mention, the fun of being able to shoot both. If I had the $$$$, I'd get the mini. Karl.

Oh, and :welcome .
