Now that my FNC bolts are completed I’m planning on cutting some more S&W 76 extractors. In the meantime, I was able to find just four extractors that were left over from the last production run which I just posted on my website.

If you still want one, I ask that you only buy a single unit for now and allow others to get one if they need it. I plan on making more, but for now, these four units are all that I have.

Any plans for ones for the MK760?
If someone were to loan me a new, unused BWE 760 extractor then I could use it as a template. Otherwise, I’m dead in the water. A while back, I was trying to source one and had a couple offers, but the FNC ultimately took priority. Now that those are done, I can knock these out pretty easily.

I definitely want an mk760/s&w76 extractor!

I just put an extra tor in my MK. I believe it is a BWE. It has 3 to 5 magazines of use on it. It isn't new but it is pretty close.

I might have one.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure if it’s a BWE one though.

Is there any way to tell at a glance?

Richard did a really good job on everything he did. I’d consider yours to be new with that low of a round count

Great question. Yes, his are stamped BWE on the side.
I ain’t got one then.

This is my spare (I’ll have to take the one out of my gun and compare the two). Mine has something akin to cosmoline or grease on it.

The S&W 76 extractors are all sold (for now).
Can we put our name on a list for the next batch you crank out? Obviously there’s a pretty good demand for these if they sold out in 6 and a half hours. Please add me on the list for one (or two if possible). Thanks!!

Hello navgunner! I would also like extractors for the Mk 760. I have 2 still in their bags from the guy in Panama City who made the MK 760 and spare parts and such for a short time but I forget his name Dominic? I believe he has passed away some time ago. My MK 760 is a calfornia gun and runs just fine so I have not had to use any of my spare extractors and you are welcome to use one if I can send it to you to compare? I would be happy to send it to you if that helps. Thanks!

Thank you, @edmoore! That’s very helpful.

Does anybody have a BWE extractor for the MK760 that I could borrow to use as a reference?

Because of high demand (I had almost 20 people on my wait list), I just added more S&W 76 extractors to my website https://navgunner.com/. These are made for the original Smith & Wesson guns and may not function in the later MK760 variants. Made from hardened tool steel and precisely cut using EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) processed these out-preform the originals.

At some point in the future I may tackle making some of these for the 760 but unfortunately that won't be anytime soon

In order for me to properly make MK760 extractors (other parts too) I’d need a fellow community member to send me their bolt (or other parts) for analysis. With prices being what they are that’s a big ask. Personally, I have plenty of projects so it’s not a must for me however, if the community wants them then that’s what I’d need.

To the best of my knowledge, there are two different bolt geometries, each of which requires a slightly different extractor.
