Inspect your brass if you reload and avoid cheap ammunition with a step in the case and you will not have these problems to begin with. I have been shooting 9mm subguns since the 80s and have yet to have a separated case.
Hence why this post was made. It was to warn others before they ended up in a situation like I was in. I usually only shoot WWB, but was at the range with some friends and one of them loaded up a mag with their ammo and that was that. Case stuck with no way to get it out. Yes, I tried several sizes of brass push-rods. The only thing that worked was to slide a blade between the case and the chamber and bend the case enough to grab it with needle-nose pliers.
