I bought this one this afternoon. Except for the crease in the stock, its a 98% gun. A commercial blue that was stuck in a nice military stock.

I'd like to see a Reisingforum. and I'd like to find a Fed Labs hard case for it

Congrats!! Nice catch. One of the big C3 dealers had a hard case for sale. Think I saw it in SGN a month or two ago. You'll enjoy the Reising's ability to stay on target in full-auto.

Cookie,
How much do we have to beg to get a reising forum? We've got interested people, pictures, and four pages of posts. This is a historic firearm that helped us win the Pacific in WW2. How about a little respect?
Alright, PLEEEEEEASE?

I don't know if the average grunt WW-II vet would agree, it did have a tendency to jam up from sand and grit at the worst times. Then again, I doubt if we beamed back a bunch of MP5's that they would have fared much better ;)

Muzzleflash, SHHHH! We're trying to get a forum opened up here. Let's focus on the posotive. If it killed one Japanese soldier, it helped win the Pacific.

Yeah, it was a weak moment. I'm telling you though, pictures of naked women with Reisings will go a long way with the management around here ;)

Yes! Open a Reising forum! I don't really hang out on these forums all that often since I don't have an Uzi (though donations would be gladly accepted! :) )and the vast majority of my collection is comprised of Mausers, Mosins, Springfields, Garands, etc... so most of my forum posting is done over on gunboards.com and Parallax Bill's sites. But as a Reising owner, I'd love to see a specific Reising forum on a website that actually gets a lot of traffic, has a large community of members already, and does a fantastic job of putting everything together. MGbooks.com has some great info (I've gotten a lot of help there with my Reising), but it's pretty weak. Uzitalk would do it a lot better... of this I'm supremely confident.

So, yeah... open up a Reising forum and ya'll will get sick of me. :)

And since we're showing photos... here are a few pics of my Reising:

1942 Reising M50 in full military garb... well... aside from the Christie mags. : )

The polling isn't looking very good for this...

Is there a certain percentage you're looking for? Right now it's ~77% in favor of the forum. Or are you looking for more votes (which could be construed as showing more interest)?

Cheers,

~ Greg ~

Thanks Cookie. I appriciate you putting a poll up. I thought we'd have more interest in a reising forum than this. I guess I'm a little biased.
Thanks again.

It is hard to get the resing guys together to a new forum... Slow to get it started... Keep the thread alive and they will start coming around.

Then get one already, they're still some of the cheapest smgs available. But thanks for posting on this thread and keeping it alive.

Cookie, I believe if you started a Reising Forum, there would be as much activity as with some of the other forums. The Reisings are still a bargain, and I'm sure that will attract additional folks, as well.
