Anybody test drive these .45 mags. It would be nice to be able to use my .45 full auto bolt and barrel without having to use the heavy GG lower & GG mags.

I ordered some; however, I haven't received them yet. As soon as I do I will be test driving them in 40 and 45 and let you know.

I am waiting for user feedback on these magazines as well, before I order some. It is a little surprising that Promag did not offer a Uzitalk special. I would like to see someone weld a twenty and ten round together to make a magazine that holds at least twenty- five rounds.

Please do.

If these are good mags I'll definitely be ordering a bunch of them.

I have bolt from barrelXchange for the 40 S&W and 10 mm but never bought a barrel from him due to the fact the mags were so hard to find then price was to much for a magaholic like me.

so if these end up working I'll be buying to 10 or more.

Where are they being sold, I only see the 10 rounders on their site.

Never mind I found them their site search is weird!!!

It is a little surprising that Promag did not offer a Uzitalk special.

It is a little strange, considering the input UZItalk had with the Promag 10 round magazines. I at least expected an announcement from Promag about their availability on UZItalk.

If it wouldn't be for the 20 rounders being offered at all, I would have thought Promag forgot about us!

Anyway, if they are any good, I'll be selling my GG lower and GG magazines to pay for a bunch of them. Less parts to change when swapping calibers is a big plus for me.

When did these come up on their website? They couldn't have been up very long. It might be that the website has been updated before production has started.
Has anyone actually seen one yet?:thinking

I ordered them earlier in the week and got a notice Friday Afternoon saying your product has shipped.

Tag for updates.

I'm curious if these would run with a .40 with no or minor tweaking. Something heavier than a 147 gr. bullet can come in handy at subgun matches at times, but 20 rounds is going to be a limitation. If you can get 25 or 26 rounds of .40 in these, it might be worth messing with.

My Uzi PROMAG 20 Round 45 Review

Well, I know here and some other places I said I would be reviewing these magazines in my FA 45 using both 45 ACP and 40 S&W. In case it was missed in another thread I will be unable to review these in the near future. I ordered them on Nov. 2. On Novemeber 4th I received a shipping notice, however, later that day I received an e-mail to call them. After I called them they said my CC had been rejected. After checking a few things with the bank, the long and short was they where now attempting to charge it for $15 more than the pre-auth had been.

When I questioned that I was told that was for shipping. I stated that the order sheet on their web page only let me choose "free shipping" I was then told this was an error on the web page and I should try ordering again in a few days when I could be charged for shipping. I said OK. Several hours later I called to cancel my order.

After I thought about, it really disturbed me that they where attempting to charge more to my credit than the order total on my order and what was authorized.

Had they called me first or e-mailed me first and said "Hey, the web page has an error, the new total is $15 more, do you still want them?" I would have said yes, no problem. If it was my company, I would have said, "Hey there was an error, but if you still want them we will split the difference with you for this one order that you already placed - $7.50" and dropped them in a flat rate envelope.

At the end of the day I have over 2 dozen IMI 45 and 41 AE magazines, so I did not need these, so I cancelled my order. I just found it very distrubing that they where attempting to charge my CC more than I had authorized. I had ordered 3 magazines and by adding $15, they where adding about 12% to my order without any consent or knowledge on my part.

So, regrettably, no review will be coming from me, but I do hope these are a good product and some other source will stock so ya'll can tell me they are wonderful and I can try to aquire some for the price I authorize.

Not to break your balls or anything, but what you described sounds like one of the usual annoyances that crop up.

It doesn't seem like a deal breaker to me.

It wouldn't have been had they just called or emailed and said there was error on the web page, your total should have been xyz, do you still want the order. The deal breaker was when "Free Shipping" on the web page turned into "We are just giong to add $15 to your credit card for shipping anyway, because that was a mistake and not tell you about"

I won't buy or use any of their shit. I had some problems with their 10/22 drums and got jerked around on them getting returned. It took over a year and the shit they sent back still didn't work. I'll pay a little more and get something that works instead of dealing with a lifetime warranty that takes nearly a lifetime to get back and it's still garbage. ProMag sucks.

I have to agree with dan12.

Piss Poor Customer Service.

Not something that instills alot of confidence.

If you can't program your website correctly, don't let it go public. If you website says "free shipping" that is to me the same as when a major retailer says "25 inch plasma TV for $99.00" when they meant "$299.00". If you purchase before the error notice, or retraction, I believe that they are bound by the advertised price.

You don't take a credit card that has been authorized for $100 bucks and try to run it for $115 dollars without the holder's permission.

Better customer service would have been to contact the customer and say "hey, there was an error on our webpage. We were supposed to charge 15 bucks for shipping, but because it was our error, we won't be. We just wanted you to know this because there is a $15 dollar shipping charge on your receipt, but there is a counterbalancing $15 dollar head up our butt discount."

I run my own business. If I quote a customer $100 bucks, and my cost comes back after the fact to be $115, I eat the $15 bucks. I also let the customer know that I ate the $15 bucks. "hey Joe, on this case, I quoted you $100 bucks. Man you made out. It actually ran $115. Don't worry about the difference. My mistake. I'm just letting you know so that next time, you don't wonder why it might cost $115."

I placed an order for two PROMAG 20 rnd 45 ACP magazines. The system did charge me a small shipping fee. I will keep you posted on how long it takes to arrive, and will test fire as soon as I can after they arrive.
