How many transferrable macs are out there of each type?

Rooster says 19k M-11/9.. plus posty builds and clandestine exports (committed illicitly by foreign individuals not US producers) I've been waiting for some Lage gear to show up in Afghanistan.. or more likely some Saudi prince's indoor range.

that is why im shocked there arent more competitors to Lage...good business for him...but there is room for a couple competitors....there's endless idea's on what to do with a Mac....look at BRP and what they have done with the Stemple....took something and made it into something 10x better

It's a limited market, there have been people who have made products that work and the ATF has no consistency with their decisions and their product is worthless. Look at Lakeside Machine, they made a good product for M16 and Ar-15 and they still wrapped it up. The AR 15 is most popular rifle in America. I believe Lage products are only for full auto Macs also so really limits your market. A lot of people own machine guns and never shoot them or have not in years, further restricting the market. Guy who I bought my m11/9 off of was like that.

It is a bit of a gamble.. most producers with the necessary capabilities are focused on opportunities with more certainty (they are not hard to find) versus something of a crap shoot with FA uppers.. but still, some of us forge ahead..
