I'm happy the Lord has blessed me with the good fortune. And a wife that understands.
I took her shooting early in our marriage, had a 22lr, a 38 special, a .357 and a 44mag. I let her (wearing hearing protection) shoot the 22lr first, thinking to progress up. she said "wow, that is loud, do you have anything quieter?" At the time, I was totally ignorant of suppressed weaponry. she said go ahead and shoot the others, I'll watch. I did, she did, she still doesn't enjoy shooting.
