Pelican Case for UZI

Just got this for my Vector RR UZI and thought I'd post a pic. These cases are stout but heavy.

I've always preferred the "Urban Camouflage" route (an old Samsonite briefcase):





The Pelicans are great for transporting (especially if you fly), but I'm a cheap bastard, & the briefcase is a lot more fun....

Only two latch instead of having the side latch also

It's a Model 1600. I think I got it from an Ebay vendor

I went with the slightly more compact model. The Uzi just fits. You have to either pull the barrel and put it under the middle layer of foam, or use a barrel shortened to just in front of the barrel nut.

Only trouble with the Apple logo is you run the risk of some douchebag stealing your case out of a Starbucks thinking he just got away with a new PowerBook.

Note to self: never take case to a Starbucks.

I have a unused Pelican 1600 that I have been "buying foam" for the last year, I did use it for my carry-on on a trip to Disney & it doubles for a gun case on the weekends. I got mine on Ebay fo $ 75.00.
