Anyone know someone who would be willing to part with 2 of these?

Recently got my first m11. Have read a lot about mags...and would really just like to try them myself...just because I guess.

I figure maybe someone on here has a stockpile or wouldent mind selling a newbie just 2 :)

Or if anyone knows a dealer how has some in stock send me a link!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm sure you can find them, most people have moved on to zmags. Are you aware of zmags?

Hey Heineken
Try Jerry at Recon Ordnance 920-992-1515. He had a bunch of them awhile ago and at a fair price.

I got them, he shipped them fast. They seem promising.

The full backstory is I have 2 m11s I recently acquired. The one takes zmags fine, the other the zmags are to big. I know it is a known issue and I can stretch the magwell or find them mags a little, but it works perfect with the original zytels and I don't want to mess with a good thing....but also want to save the zytels since I know they function so well (yes I got some of the Lage steel feed lips...haven't tested yet). I don't want to grind on my zmags either since they fit the other one fine. I also tried the newer production cobray zytels and the promag zytels, but the are too big and/or are crazy tight....I grinded one down till it fit but then the bolt hits the mag and won't close. So I had to grind the location of the mag catch on the mag...it works but it's meh...and if you over insert bolt hits back the mag...so you gotta remember to pull down on the mag after it locks in...not optimal at all.

So anyway, I got the Pam2s cleaned up, oiled and reassembled. 2 fit perfect, and drop free. The other 2 I had to just kiss with a file where they were rubbing and now they fit perfect and drop free. Bolt closes and doesn't rub on them. Followers move smoothly. On the stock upper the mag hits stop and won't over insert or make it to the ejector rod, so as long as I don't gorilla anything I am do not think I will have over insertion issues. Can always add a stop later of needed.

Basically....I am going thru what many have already gone thru before me...i have read the threads, huge help and way to pass the time as I was waiting on the ATF. Now I am having a blast just testing everything, finding what I like best, etc...wish I did it years ago, I feel so late to the game...but better late then never I guess :)

I asked shockwave if they were going to fix their dimensions and they said the latest batch should be good. Did you ask them? When did you buy those ZMags

Yes I spoke with them after, they said they were going to make a batch and grind them before finishing, or fix the issue and they would let me know, but then never got back to me.

I'll reach out maybe try some of the new batch.

I told Cynthia that I heard they correct the mag dementions in the most recent batch, but she said:

"That is from a batch that was last year October. The ones you have are from the good batch. I don’t think I am going to find anything smaller."

I purchased mine December/Jan of last year....so I guess she is saying they corrected the dementions last October and I already have the good batch. I checked again and they aren't even close, I also have so 50 rounders bought same time, they are closer to fitting but still super tight. Preban zytels fit fine, and the PAM2s fit fine and I like that they drop free.

Other good news is the PAM2s ran fine today stock upper and Lage upper....so looks like this m11 will just stick with the PAM2s.

Back when PAM2 mags were a good thing, we would swap out the springs for uzi springs.

Thanks. I remember reading somewhere guys swapping springs...and everyone always mentions they suck to load ...I won't lie I always thought you guys were exaggerating....nope, your were not. Lol. If you don't have a loader it's not happening.

If you can find one of the good stem loaders (Austen), I recall Vegas SMG telling me they work well with these mags.

So far the maglula is working well, just have to kind of tilt the round in. I can get in a good rhythm though

I got excited about the Austen loader with these mags but mine wouldn’t fit. Does the Austen loader work for anyone else?

Hey, so I just picked up a 6 pack of the most recent batch of zmags, and low and behold, they are much better then the ones I got last December.

The old ones from December are so oversized my OEM metal cobray loader won't even fit them. It fits the 50 rounders fine, and it fits the new ones just fine as well.
