I had a red dot (cheap) that fell apart. Apparently didn't like the F selector, now I'm looking for a replacement and was curious about what you guys are using. I have the "clamp on" picatinny rail, I was thinking along the lines of one of the C-more red dot, what say you?

I may order one of these. It doesn't matter what it cost. I still laugh when I mount a ?$100 optic on a NFA gun. Just seems a little out of place.

I'm always looking for cheap and good. Jmacken37, Has the micro dot held zero ok with full auto? When I first sighted in the red dot on my MP5 it held zero for a few weeks then started moving around on me, I took it off and some of the screws mounting the glass had vibrated loose (had loctite blue).

I know quite a few people have had issues with Botach. I have never used them and right now don't have the money to buy one of these. For what it is worth, guys on another site ordered some of these on July 30th and have been receiving them this week.

One guy bought the Trijicon RMR RM04 7 MOA Dual Illuminated Reflex Sight which listed for $481.95. After he added it to cart it was 20% off then entered : trijiconrmr in the coupon code and received another 25% off for a price of $265.07 and chose the free 3-10 day shipping option. Right now a lot of the sights are sold out. I hope they get some more in and I have some expendable cash. As for Primary Arms, their stuff is not bad at all for the price and they have excellent customer service and quick shipping. I have 2 of there red dots but have been waiting for them to get their new green reflex sight in.

If you do go the Botach way, good luck and use a credit card just to CYA. Although like I said guys on the other website have been getting theirs in, so who knows, maybe Botach is changing their old ways.

Just got my Primary Arms red dot in, I like the way it looks on the MP5, I'll sight it in this evening, give it a little grief this weekend and see how she holds up. Don't mind going cheap or expensive, just don't like buying crap (not talking about the price). Thanks all.

PA red dot appears to be working great, holding zero fine. Ran about 10 - 40 round mags through it this weekend, no problems with the red dot, had several FTF, the bolt would not close, trigger would break soft and no fire, probably because I'm running subsonic, I'll run some hotter rounds latter and see if it still persist, maybe another question. Thanks for the help.

I have a Docter sight and mount on my MP5K, and the combo has worked out fine. CDNN normally carries them both.

The Primary Arms red dot is working great, I ran probably 4-5hundred rounds threw it, perfect, (replaced the 308 hammer spring with the 9mm spring) now its 100%,(as of this post)) now I'm running low on the Fiocchi sub sonic I purchased 6 months ago, (bought a 1000 rounds) figured that would get me through Obama gun scare, wrong.

Reviving this thread from the dead. Looking for suggestions for an optic for an MP5K and an MP5SD. Will primarily be used at from 50 - 100 yards. My eyes are not what they were 10 years ago :-(

Primary Arms is still the best bet for something reasonable. Ive had one of theirs on my M11 for 5 years now, no issues, holds zero. The new ones even have better battery life. Cant go wrong.
