Awesome, I'll be there bright and early on Saturday. And the night shoot is Friday night, is that correct?

Just out of curiosity, but if anyone going happens to own a Reising M50 they wouldn't mind bringing down I've been trying to get my hands on one to run a few mags through since I've been considering getting one for a second MG. I can bring ammo for it and let you run a few mags out of my M11/9 with all the Lage goodies if you happen to have one you wouldn't mind bringing down to shoot.

One last possibly dumb question from me. Is the night shoot requirement just suppressed, or suppressed and subsonic?

Suppressed and subsonic. Don’t want to piss off the neighbors with cracks from non subsonic ammo

I figured that was the intent but was hoping I could get out of loading more 9mm subsonic before Friday. 😁

Thanks for confirming, I will fire up the press!

I’ll be shooting my Reising for one of my runs. You’re welcome to take it for a spin.

Thanks for all the work in putting this on. This was my first match of any kind. I had a great time.

That was a lot of fun! The dual stars were way more fun than I expected. It was hard to see the hits in the brown targets, but that may be more related to my age than I care to admit. My group had a grand ‘ol time, camping, shooting, and now… heck, the kids are still sleeping. John wore us OUT.

I second that on the brown targets. At 53 my eyes aren’t what they used to be. I could hear and kinda see the hits. After getting burnt good on the first set, I started really pounding them from there on out. But hey, I didn’t come to a machine gun shoot to just double tap stuff lol.

Thank you to all who attended and participated, and a big thanks to those who helped clean up the ranges while I was doing the admin paperwork.

I tried to make things a challenge for everyone. I feel bad because the stage I hoped would mess with everyone was the one everyone loved!! Having the stars all in one stage I figured would mess with people but it was the opposite.

This match was the first match I ever ran and I think that stage and the third stage were the only ones I did pretty decent on!

For as much of a learning curve these matches are especially the fourth stage, I still had a ton of fun! The Texas star stage looked really intimidating being a newbie, but I went through it much better than I anticipated and gave me more confidence going into the third stage.

Thanks for putting on such a great match for all us. I had a blast!

Is the outlook better for running it again next year?

While helping clean up targets at the trap range…. We missed one. You know John was hiding the targets well when the cleanup crew can’t find them all 🤪

When the RO's and Scorer's can't see hits on the "hidden" targets, that's a problem. Greta idea, but....
