I purchased a "New / Unfired" Norinco 320 Model B and previously posted a thread on FTF problems I was having. Still no luck getting that solved, however, I took it to a gunsmith who told me the folding stock was put on aftermarket and they weren't imported in this configuration. I've done some digging on this and have found conflicting information so was hoping someone could help clear this up for me. One post said all Norinco models were imported post ban so only came into the country with a wood stock. Any help is appreciated.

Some people mix up the 1989 import ban with the 1994 U.S. ban. The Norincos were imported from China so they are subject to the 1989 ban on non-sporting rifles. All the Norincos were imported with the wood stock to make them legal. Some people claim that some were imported with folding stocks, but that's just to cover up improper attempts to put a folding stock on the gun. None came in with folders.
