All of the VERSA’s feature a bolt that is compatible with both single feed and double feed magazines. There are many magazine possibilities.

Will the bolt be backwards compatible with the old 31 series Mark 2 uppers? To be able to use the Suomi stick mags?

Please e-mail us and ask to be put on VERSA-12 waiting list and also let us know which magazine modules you would like. For the VERSA-12, we currently have magazine modules for the Suomi Drum ( uses the drum, coffin, ZMAG-S, DC-31 and 36 round double feed stick), Glock 17, EVO Scorpion and M-11/9 Shockwave ZMAG.

VERSA-11 and VERSA-12 are 1/2-28. VERSA-10 in 9mm is 1/2-28 and VERSA-20 in .45 ACP IS 5/8-24

As someone who does not have any of these mags and would be starting from scratch, any recommendations from the hive? I’ve never been a big fan of my Glock 23 mags and would lean to the scorpion option…now if they offered an MP5 mag option I’d be all over that.

I'll be getting on the M10 list I just need to figure out what mag well to start with.
Possibly the evo3 since I have a pile of mags and drums.
That will leave thd 10/31 for the coffins and drums.
I'd be down for a SP5/MP5 magwell also got lots,of mags,and drums,for my SP5 too.

What are the mag options for the 45 threaded 5/8x24 Mr. Lage?
That kinda has my interest also.

The VERSA-11 and VERSA-12 are cross compatible. The VERSA 10 is not.

I've been shooting the VERSA-11 upper for the last year + as a VERY grateful beta tester.

I initially thought the glock magwell was silly but it is really just fantastic and I LOVE the ergonomics of this upper.

The mag release button is perfectly positioned and the magwell hits that sweet spot making reloads easy and empty mags drop free beautifully. As far as shooting, this upper just shoots flat and has the perfect (for me) ROF. My weenie finger can pull singles easily. I remember Vegas SMG talking up the first Max-31 and being surprised at how flat that upper shot when I transitioned to that upper. The VERSA-11 is a similar game changer, in my opinion.

The VERSA-11 is lighter, points really nicely, is equisitly ergonomic, and performs WAY better than my shooting skillz do it justice!

Two thumbs way up Lage MFG have hit it out of the park.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention all them mag choices are just icing on the cake!
