Did any of you guys notice Lage sneakily added a new grip to their website? They reference a this one is "smooth" implying there is a textured one on the way, too. I like the looks and will have to give it a try.

That safety selector and semi/safe selector looks updated, too?

Interesting. And yes those are new or special safety and selector parts.

The Lage grip that I have has some rough panels on the sides for grip. I might give the new one a try as it has a different profile.

Ugh I just got the smooth one in the mail and like the textured look better. Shit.

I do like this version better than the old one though. Less block and the material is not as “flexible” my old one the spring kind of flexed the bottom of the grip out. It is some sort of pro grade 3d print I think.

He has a trip lever also I never saw before that I installed as well.

Send the smooth one back with a note and we will exchange it for the textured one. No charge.

Anyone know if rear grip will clear a practical solutions ext mag release? The 9mm latest version does but the og grip on my 380 small magwell will not.

The Lage grip is a big improvement if you have big mitts but i'd love to see a .380 grip w/ release lever.

Here’s a before:

and after:

a little more svelte

love it except for two things…

1st, this nub is in the wrong spot.

The smooth area below the trigger guard can only fit a finger of a woman, a normal sized middle finger will engage this nub and it’s uncomfortable in that spot just holding it, won’t get any better during recoil. I’m going to file/sand that 1st serration hopefully with a clean blend so it doesn’t look bubba’d. Will mask leaving only that thin nub line showing to minimize cosmetic disturbance.

2nd, the color is way too black. Many shades darker than typical parkerized m11s. Should use filament with a little more gray tone so it matches better.

Once the nub is corrected I think I’ll be happier with it overall compared to the previous grip, the contours are much better than the old one.

It’s mainly the corner portion of that 1st serration creating the pressure point. If that 1st (or even 2nd) serration didn’t exist this grip would fit almost like a glove. Noticeable improvement over the old grip and light years ahead of the factory profile.

So... does this new and improved style come in a mag release model yet? For the M10/45? Thanks!
