Here’s NavGunner’s integral ported can setup with both of the current platforms (Sten Mk.II and the S&W76) and it’s seriously impressive!

What makes it stand out is its somewhat modular Integral design. If you already own his S&W76 / MK760 can, you’re not locked into just one platform, you can simply get his Sten MK2 adapter kit (get the lightened bolt too) and run it on a Sten MK.II. That kind of flexibility is a huge win; especially, for an integral / ported barrel suppressor.

It goes both ways, too. If you start with the Sten integral can, you can easily use it on the S&W76 / MK760 platform with the right adapter/barrel combo.

Just out of curiosity, about how many rounds does it take before it is too hot to hold on the Sten?

Just out of curiosity, about how many rounds does it take before it is too hot to hold on the Sten?

I’ve got a wrap on it and that helps. The wrap is a repro though and I don’t have anything under it to absorb the heat. I’d say five mags or so and I usually pull the repro wrap off and let it cool. I’m planning to put something under the repro wrap. I’ve got a real MKii(S) wrap with the asbestos too. I haven’t used that (frankly, I’m not sure where I put it).

I’m definitely open to making silencers for any platform but some are more appealing than others. I really want to do a Swedish K but the cost would be high and I’m not sure that I’d sell more than a couple. The UZI adapter is a definite possibility but GSL already has an affordable option so I’m not sure if I can compete price wise.
