Shot mini for first time today. Transfer took 13 months. It shoots fast! Worked with 25, 32 and 40 round mags. Tried 4 different ammos all worked great. Lots of fun. Pretty accurate but not great for matches but fun at range. Was able to sell a full size Uzi and buy mini for a little more. My Gun is a vector.

I use to run my Mini at matches all the time but I have the BarrelXchange heavy bolt. Can consistently pull singles at will at that cyclic rate.

Yep, the stock Mini seems to run about like an unmodified M11/9. As amphibian notes, a heavy bolt really changes how the gun runs. Unfortunately there really aren’t a lot of them out there. I had talked with Troy from BarrelXchange some years ago at the Creek about them. It seems like he does things in batches, which are few and far between.

Unlike the MAC guns, there aren’t as many Mini Uzis out there, so there isn’t as much of a market to push companies for develop upgrades.

Have fun with the little Uzi!

I did notice the bayonet lug getting hot while shooting. Someone used to sell a core rip that attached to the lug. Are they still available? Other solutions?

I find the 16 in. barrel, semi-auto Mini Uzi carbine to be a decent 9mm carbine. The only real complaint is the heavy cocking force - a situation that it shares with the semi-auto Thompson 27A1 carbine. Both being closed bolt, semi-auto implementations of firearms originally designed as full-auto, open bolt submachine guns.

MHO, YMMV, etc. Be well.

I'm in.
What do I need to do to order 2 units.

I'm starting the list. Estimate to start production in the next week or 2.

Don't have hard numbers for the bolts yet but estimate standard bolts around $450 and heavy bolts around $650 depending on Tungsten prices.
