So I have the unholy trinity of Uzis: full auto standard, mini and micro.

I am thinking of getting rid of the micro. I shoot the full a lot, the mini somewhat, but the micro shoots quite a bit too fast to be used as a practical weapon.

It is kind of neat and interesting, and a toy, and the three of the Uzis look good when laid out together, but is that enough of a reason to hold on to the micro?

One other con is the micro devours ammo, goes through a 20 round mag in about a second. (doesn't work great with 32 rounders, can do OK with 25s).

I don't know. Is it worth keeping?

well.... not really worthless, but seriously, we need some decent "uzi family portrait" pictures!!!!

anyways, my vote goes to "keep it". im guessing that there are ton of people on here who would very much love to be in your shoes right now, myself included. just because something isnt practical isnt reason to get rid of it.
didnt barrelxchange offere a micro heavy bolt that reduced rpm to 750 or something?

I wish I had your problems, Sir. Or at least one or two of it...

Keep it!

About like a MAC I suppose. I've run em both and prefer the Micro ergonomics/folding stock. Really not much use for either except extremely close quarter shooting or jumping out of a plane do to the size. Still, it's a blast to shoot and always a crowd pleasure ( unless your facing it ). What other real purpose do any of our civilian SMG's serve ?

Like you, I have all 3 and while they are all UZI's. I always tell people they all shoot differently and they all agree after trying them. I shoot the Micro the least also. Just bring it out occasionally for people to try out. I keep mine in the factory closed bolt configuration. Mine runs fine w/ 32 rounders. I want to keep the 'Trinity' so I don't plan on getting rid of mine but IF I had to, it would be the first of the 3 to go.

totally sell it. you aren't crazy about it if you are posting and asking if you should keep it. get something new that you are interested in. I personally like getting new guns as I learn about a new weapon. That generally means that I must sell something that i currently have. Try to get out of it what you have in it and move on. in my opinion the micro is by far and away the least desirable uzi out there. I had one for awhile. Fun, but not a keeper. There are some guns I have purchased again once I sold them as i missed them. Not embarrased about that either. Micro uzi's are available. If you want to buy one in the future you will be able to find one.

I would sell it, if you don't care for it anymore then why keep it? You could use that money for a different FA, Micros go for 8000-9000 or so? That's enough for an AC556, Sterling, or FNC. Or you could put that money towards an m16 or HK sear.

My micro is not the most reliable gun on the planet. Some days it runs, some days its just a pain in the ass. Its also not comfortable to shoulder because of the short stock and there is nothing to hold on to. Its also quite a violent gun to shoot because your face is soo close to the reciever. Honestly, my mini uzi with a semi buffer blows my micro away in the rpm category. Having said all that, I would have a hard time parting with this little pain in the ass micro...lol...

Definetely would not be my first choice in combat but in my opinion, its the coolest looking of the three and rounds out any uzi collection nicely.

I generally shoot the crap out of my full size.
