Words of wisdom....wiggle, don't whack.

Why would we whack it, when wiggling will work wonderfully?

Which is why you received the NIW hand guards. My friend tried to force them into place, (I'm guessing), and broke the original set.

I ordered the canted fore grip at the same time I bought the MAX-11 upper and had never used it. I decided I liked it so much I never bothered to open the replacement grips you received.

Nothing like new furniture to freshen up a used upper huh?

You mean your FORMER friend? :jester

Hey lucky me on the new handguard.

I thought I like the canted grip, too, but the PDW grip on the 1913 rails are way cool.

I did the same thing. I have only used the canted hanguard once, finding that I like the original one with an ACE verticle grip better.

I've got to pipe in on this - the forward canted grip is IMO so superior to the vertical grip that I have been looking (fruitlessly) for a forward-canted grip for my AR-15. If anyone knows where to find one please advise.

The 'boxer's stance' provided by the forward cant is much more natural and less fatiguing than the vertical stance. Try it with nothing in your hands. The wrist muscles are more strained with the forward hand gripping a vertical than a forward cant.

Everyone's different and tastes run the spectrum, but the forward cant is hands-down better for me.
