There is a "Project Status" page http://max-11.com/M1115 Status.html at the Lage website. The last update is 08/16/17. I would suggest if you are that concerned, call and ask.

It uses a standard Ar-15 barrel nut.

Since it uses a standard ar15 barrel nut, you'd be able to run the DOLOS system on it for quick barrel changes and also to enable caliber conversions like 300blk

The DOLOS is indeed great for quick changes.
