Outstanding! I enjoy mine that I made from Marty's parts and a hacksaw, but it's super to see a Mossberg factory offering!

I'm at SHOT Show this week... I'll have to stop by the Mossberg booth.

EDITED: It is indeed there in the Mossberg booth at SHOT Show!

Is that barrel rifled ? I remember the .410 revolvers had to have rifled barrels.

Because its a pistol. The above weapon is not a pistol but is classified as a Firearm, and will retain such status as long as it is 26" OAL and has never had a stock mounted. The .410 revolvers are .45LC pistols that also happen to accept .410 shells.

Remember Boys and Girls, if it didn't start life as a PGO you'll need a stamp to cut the barrel...

or buy one in the white and keep proof of it.

Still subject to nfa here. I was going to build a teeny tiny 26" OAL Auto-5 clone but since the bbl would be less than 18" gay PA laws say it has to be nfa.

sarco and numrich are the places to check if you want to find 'in the white' unfinished receivers and they're usually cheap too.

Holy crap that is a great idea, consider it stolen. I don't have my A5 in front of me right now, what kind of barrel length are you looking at with that setup? Just has to have no stock and 26" OAL when built off a new receiver, right?

Nice. At $450 MSRP on that Mossberg, it undercuts the other ones out there on the market by at least $150 to $200 (I've seen both Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 variants). I might just have to pick one up to go with my SXS sbs.

I am absolutely not surprised at the response of the Shockwave 590 at the SHOT show 2017. Nor am I surprised that Mossberg has teamed up with Marty (Shockwave) to produce this for retail. Talent, Integrity and Hard Work = this kind of outcome.
I feel like I need to get a selfie and an autograph.

You guys are too kind. (Where's the bashful smiley?) It really means a lot to me that you are all rooting for us. We try every single day to do the best we can. Sometimes we stumble and fall. But we get up and then run even faster and harder. It's not easy running your own business. But it is incredibly rewarding. And running across a thread like this makes it so worth it. Thank you to all of you. I'm humbled.

Here's me at SHOT with the new offering. I couldn't be prouder. :)

I really need the bashful smiley to respond to this post. ;)
