...when someone or some company begins offering a quality Galil. I'm aching to invest in a decent Micro or SAR, but I don't want to pay "pre-ban" prices if there may be a company coming along in the near future who will sell me a new gun.

Im sure the pres are still around 2200-2x00.
Some of the new USA ones such as ORF or Vulcun are around 1999. plus shipping and tranfers.
