Looking to take a tour of the old buildings that were used by these companies. I have found of bunch of addresses in the Mac Man Book and online, although some don't even make sense.

Route 1, Macland-Dallas Road Powder Springs, GA turns up nothing but was the original Mac plant.

440 Glover Street Marietta GA was the main MAC plant and is now the Cobb County Board of Ed

1088 Huff Road NW Atlanta GA was where RPD moved to.

1655 Peachtree St NE Atlanta GA 30309 is the Payroll building for Sionics

I don't have SWD addresses although I know they were in Atlanta or at least for awhile.

Anyone know any others?

Route 1 MacLand-Dallas road was WerBell's house. That house is still in the family. It is a private residence. Don't go there if not invited. Private property.
Route 1 is way out dated. Now everyone uses house numbers.

Now everyone uses house numbers? What the heck did you old timers do before then?

I just planed on driving by on a public road if I could, not ever on people's property. There are some idiots out there who might do that though.

It's 4321 Macland Rd. I drive by it occasionally, you can still see the Sionics sign on the shop building from the road. There's a small lake out front. I haven't been in there in a long time, but the range starts just beyond the shop building.

About 7 years ago, I posted that I had to go to Atlanta on business, and looking for info on Gun shops, and places of interest. Werbell's grandson responded, and invited me to come to the Farm to shoot. It was neat seeing the Original shop, and shooting out of the original TEST Facility AKA a steel shed. I believe he was banned after an argument with another member.

Hopefully not? Of course, the idea of a Werbell being a hothead? I think that's a proud part of their DNA! LOL
I've never understood the whole concept of "banning" people from sites? If someone says something blatantly illegal etc...I suppose. I prefer the "time out" approach. Now, if someone becomes a repeat offender...?
One thing I DO know...I'd never want to have to deal with running a site like this! Seems like a totally thankless BIG job. I suspect most forum owners do it for the love of the sport. Thank God for them...I don't know where I'd go if there wasn't a daily stop at UT! :)

Apparently a company called Cam-Tex is listed there. They make stuff for police departments. Sounds about right.

When I was there he had a Tactical Training, and firearms Instruction business. He taught on the Range at the Farm. He went by GeorgiaGuy here.
