Who makes the best aftermarket bolt for a m11/9? Again, appreciate all the insight as I’m new to the MG community.
The best aftermarket bolt is the CF-W tungsten bolts. There are several variations. Search and you will have days of reading.

2nd best bolt is they typical CNC stock style. The firing pin is machined into the face, they work.

Thats another gem made by Lage. It fires using reliable 71round surplus Suomi drums.

Guys I really appreciate all the info and didn’t mean to incite an argument. To be frank, I spent 12k on this Mac. Buying an extra 300 dollar or whatever bolt is not a concern whatsoever. This leads me to my next question. Considering I have a hardened Lage sear installed what’s the best bolt to buy? Shit I’ll buy 2. I have what looks like a ftf bolt installed by the previous owner after the runaway. The original bolt I’ll throw in the trash or mail to someone if they want it.

That FTF bolt is not a bad bolt, basically the best commercial option you are gonna get these days outside of a CFW tungsten bolt (specialty slow fire bolt). Those FTF CNC bolts are harder than the SWD, they have 2 different options, one with a milled firing pin and one that is an exact copy of the original SWD design. Basically all of the online retailers that sell M11/9 bolts are selling the same unit. Not sure who makes them, but the milled pin version is identical to the SMG bolt that was manufactured either by or for Masterpiece arms in the early 2000s.

Always accepting throw away OEM bolt donations :)

I have a Lage Max11k already. I wanted to keep the rate of fire stock on the stock upper because I have a AWC Mk9 with it I want to keep for shits and giggles when friends come. The lage upper will live on it for probably 80% of it's life. I am also on the waitlist for the Max 11/15 upper.

Any word on the bolt you're throwing away? As I said I will be glad to take it. Thanks
