I am looking for options for an upgraded receiver pin for my MAC 10. Something that would also work with my Lage uppers but not use a ball/detent. Easy to remove with gloves on etc. Thought I would ask the thinktank before I head out to the garage and go DIY.

I have one with the ball, but the fitment on my lower is so tight with the factory upper or with Lage parts, that I don't think any other pin style would be any easier/harder to get out. I bring a little plastic & brass punch set to the range so I can easily knock the pin out & back in to swap uppers. It's a lot less hassle than fumbling around with it by hand. As a bonus, the punch set is handy when someone inevitably gets the bolt stuck halfway back because they had the safety engaged haha

All that said, if your fitment is loose enough and you are going the DIY route, you might consider leaving one end 1/4" proud of the receiver and drilling the overhang for a pull ring (like the way some AR receiver pins come) for quick takedown.

Sort of what Dropsith suggested. Cinch pin and clip as was used on the Jersey MACs.
Good luck with whatever you decide on.
MHO, YMMV, etc.

I have a ball detent cinch pin on JAWS MAC. It's quick and easy to pull the ring and swap uppers. No hammering or punches. It may not be the most aesthetically appealing take down pin, but it works very well.

I have a two piece pin one that takes a spung pin through the center of the pin.
It presses on three sides both ends and the center of the pin where it's sprung like a leaf spring.

Pretty much need a bullet or some type of pusher to get the center pin to move since it's sping steel and has a notch on the end.

Looks like a over sized extractor.

Also have the regular detent ones and the one that came with the 10/15 upper.

I prefer the two piece pretty sure it came from Sam @ practical solutions when he went through my gun in 2010.

Will any of these work with a Powder Springs?

The stock pin has a groove around the diameter in the middle and held in place with a spring & tab.

I believe you would have to remove the little retaining arm in the PS upper. I just use that pin with that upper and the Lage pins with the rest of my uppers.

I can say those pull ring ones are probably the easiest, the KNS probably the cleanest. I have only personally owned the KNS and OEM ones, but I would like to acquire a pull ring one for testing stuff out and for when I expect a lot of disassembly. The OEM I never use, and the KNS is good for when I'm not planning on swapping uppers at the range.

Summary:
OEM: I have had one not fully clipped and one half fell out at the range. I put it in a box
KNS: Fiddly to engage / disengage it, but cleanest once installed and secure
Pull Ring: Easiest for frequent upper swaps, but the ones I've seen are longer than they need to be and look a bit sloppy. They work because it's blatantly obvious when it's backing out.

I believe you are describing the early power springs design where there is a latch as well, correct?

This is going to sound nutty but on some of my MACs I just went to the hardware store and bought linchpins with rings. A couple of bucks apiece and worked just fine.

All over the place!
I guess I don’t see why you would discount using a pin with a ball/detent? I switched to the Lage pin and as the ball locks in between the upper and lower, it is very easy to remove, but has never walked out using it on my 31, 31C, or 11/15.
