Well that didn't last long. Outbid. Also if anyone is buying these hoping they'll fit an M10 or any MAC variant, they will not.

definitely doesnt fit m10. looks like closed bolt 9 for the ar with no mech to trip the sear. the very rear sheet metal is to cover the transition to the rounded buffer tube. that pick up on the bottom of the bolt looks wide, like maybe for a double feed mag

What magazines would fit? I asked the seller and he stated that he didn't know.

I would not buy those.
Atf has ruled very similar uppers were mg's before, and I am pretty sure these would fall under that interpretation.

I also wouldn't buy these. They could call it mg, but these are not open bolt. It would take a lot to get this to fire 2 rounds in a row. More likely they would determine that these are both title 1 and marking deficient

I had one for a brief period of time, probably 20yrs ago. Did not run for shit and beat up the lower. Will not work with a DIAS or registered receiver M16, nothing to hit the hammer trip

I've got one very Similar.

Its a top cocker and uses the AR magwell with adapter for sten mags.vs that side load.

bbl is longer on mine.

I'll dig up the article on it in a bit.

This may or may not be correct info below but makes the most sense that mine came from Alan. Lots of likeness to my Vanguard upper for M11/9. This guy did lots of odd stuff.

Alan Graetz of Vanguard Firearms was on hand with a few new and interesting products. The first is a major upgrade for the M10 & M11 shooting systems. The Vanguard Subgun Assembly (VSA) offers an attractive new look for the M11/9, M10, and M11/.380. This system offers comfort and control for the user of the high RPM subguns by utilizing an adjustable site, integral optics mount, fore grip, muzzle guard, and ambidextrous cocking knob. The entire assembly is parkerized to match and there is no permanent alteration to the firearm needed. Adapters will soon be available for suppressors. This new subgun assembly will be available April 2005 for $400. The second item of interest is their Franchi conversion from the registered transferable model 1962 to the LF57. They will make this conversion using the customer supplied parts kit for $400.00. The example we looked at was terrific in workmanship and finish. (Parts kits are currently available at Long Mountain Outfitters www.longmountain.com).

THESE ARE NOT FOR A MAC 10. THEY ARE ACTUALLY MADE FOR AR15 LOWER AND USE STEN 9mm MAGS.

It took me a minute to think of it but I remembered I saved the images because I thought they were so neat. I'd love to have one.

Pretty confident that link covers exactly what they are, sights sure look the same.

What a wide fun world we live in. The 80s had some crazy firearms experimentation.
