No flame but I'd rather buy from a dealer and spend few extra bucks than to send thousands of dollars to an individual I don't know. Plus you don't have to pay for two transfers. I've been burned before for much less than this gun costs and it hurts.

I just meant if you are going to charge top dollar you better provide top dollar customer service.

The original Ingram m10. 45 take a slightly modified m3 mag. There is an aftermarket mag catch that will allow using unmodified m3 Mags. I have read good results with this setup
But I prefer to use the original mag catch with the modified mags

Why would you ever want to use modified mags if you have the option of using the unmodified?

Because that's the way God intended. The mag sits a bit higher up and it is reliable for me.

I'm waiting on the transfer of my MAC-10 .45. I didn't know there was such a thing as a modified mag. I have a M11/9 so this modified mag thing is new to me. I don't even know if my gun needs modified mags or not.

No that is the way Ingram wanted them so they could sell modified magazines and make $ instead of people buying their own surplus grease gun magazines.

I always wondered why... 1/8th of an inch makes money

Using the unmodified mag changes the geometry of the cartridge feeding cycle. If it works for you that's great. I stay with the oroginal design.
