M3/M3a1 Grease Gun Drive Springs

Anyone have a Wire Diameter of the grease gun drive springs. Or can measure for me please. Not looking for aftermarket spring diameter. Period correct please and thank you.

Wire diameter is 0.050" on the mag I pulled apart. It was a blued mag, probably 20 years old or better. No markings on it that I could find.

.033 wire diameter, .377 spring OD, 12.12" free length, 68 coils (approx. .180" coil spacing).


I'm also told a VZ58 spring may be the closest drop in. Suomi and 1919 may also work.
