I just wanted to get thoughts on the pro's and cons of each.

I'm still trying to track a M11/9 down but once I do my first purchase will be a replacement upper.

I would like to be able to shoot suppressed and also have a .22 conversion option. I have a .45 osprey on order, but I am not sure if it is full auto rated in 9mm. I currently have a sparrow and it is full auto rated in .22, but is seems you must use a 9mm supressor with a .22 conversion. I would probably not go this route since I don't want to foul up my Osprey.

Also, I know the Max-31 removes the option of a .22 conversion, but you get an awesome drum mag option and I could get the .22 conversion for the stock upper. Since there is no recoil with a .22 I could get buy without the Max-11.

Just by what people are selling on gunbroker etc. it seems the Max-11 is the most popular. It's honestly tough to find an aucton without one in it.

So, why did you choose either the 31 or 11? Is there something else out that I should look into?

Thanks.

MAX-31 + M11/22 seem to be the go-to setup nowadays. Your Sparrow will work perfectly with the 22 kit.

I'm a MAX-11 (modified) + M11/22 (modified) owner myself. If you've seen pics and threads with my stuff, you'll understand why I'm sticking with them... for now.

The reality is that you NEED a Max-11, Max-31 and .22 kits for your stock upper and the Max-11.

Don't forget to buy all the other cool upgrades (full auto only competition trigger, collapsing stock, folding stock, Lage belt fed upper, etc.)

I like my max31. 71 round Drums cost $30. .22 kits are cool, but at the end of the day, its just a big noisy toy. Now 9mm is a real caliber. Able to kill zombies and everything.

Maybe you don't have the right kind of bullets. My 22lr will saw a 2x4 in half so I am quite certain it will cut a zombie in half, unless of course he is wearing body armor! :uzi

I think the M11/22 kit gives you the most bang for your buck. After that I'd buy a Max-11.
