Wow. This is going to be amazing.... Now if only a belt fed could grow from this then I won't need to find a m16 for a 223 belt fed upper lol...

I am having a hard time deciding if I want to purchase a M-16 lower. Besides Leauge what other Mac uppers are out there because I have a saber and I know of no other really cool options that are still for sale that have a parent company in operation? I would love to buy some more toys for my Mac but I am not seeing many companies making drastically different uppers like to 11-15

well since you already have a sabre then you already have the ability to shoot most of the cals that a m16 will. just not as sexy maybe?
ok, true story time,a long time ago i sold a frankford arsenal rr m16 for 13,000 and bought 3.m10s 1.m11 and 1.m11a1 with enough left to deck all but one m10 out with every flavor of lage goodness. and the one that i didnt lage out i sent to aa for the sabre upper fitting. so for that same 13,000 i got 5 kick ass mgs,all with the ability to do just about everything that the 16 did.its all about what your trying to do.i had a mg that was in my mind getting so valuable that i was getting scared to shoot the damn thing.i dont feel that way about my macs;-)
rifle cals are on the way(thanks to aa for leading the way and a big thank you to mr Lage for filling that void)
its just a matter of time till someone comes out with a belt fed upper.
if the shrike, sabre and the m11/15 all got past atf why not a mac belt fed?
like i said.... macs the dias of the future

I know this has been asked before and from what I could find, hasn't been answered yet. I have an M11 that had the sabre hole drilled in it....does the Lage Upper use that same hole or will my lower have two in it now?

Pretty sure Richard made every effort to align his hole with the Sabre hole- makes a lot of sense. If a buffer is needed for my 12 ga upper, I was going to do that, and Richard is way smarter than me so I can't imagine he hasn't done that.

Its been asked 2x before and answered 2x

Richard says something about trying to get the hole as low as possible to improve the function of the gun

Why would he worry about the hundred owners to a sabre that is 10 years old?

Look back and you will see it answered 2x. Maybe sabre owners will get lucky. Waiting for updated pics

Look at the first 5 pages of this thread and I think you will find ritchards comment on where the hole may be located.

I get that text speak has become more of the vernacular in a lot of places in the internet. I'm sorry I just don't feel I can make it through this post with understanding. I think actual experience is being expressed, that I would like to understand. But without capitalization and punctuation, I'm just not sure I understand what information is there in the above post. I would very much appreciate the same information with capitalization and punctuation so I can understand precisely what this poster is trying to say. I think I agree but I am not really sure.

OP, please post however you wish. Most machinegun purchasers tend to be in their 40's or 50's rather than their teens or 20's. I find firearms information tends to be precise and technical. The clearer the presentation of information, I feel the easier to understand. I think what I got out of what is written is that you sold a M16 RR and rolled the money into multiple MAC style RRs. I also think you want a beltfed using your MAC style RR, right? But I don't really know. When I post, I proof read the post to be sure I am expressing my thoughts in a coherent manor. To me the whole point of posting to to relate my information (as I understand it) and thoughts to others. I am trying to let you know that I didn't understand your post. I am posting in this thread instead of a PM because there are many more that read but never post. I'm guessing that being a member since 2003 but with a post count under 100, you don't post very often. My response is not meant to ridicule you. I think you have experience to contribute. But I don't feel I understand what you have posted. I think capitalization and punctuation would help me to understand. Please help me to understand.

Wow. If you are not able to interpret what he meant you're not as smart as your fancy vocabulary had led you to believe.

I thought we already had a Grammar Nazi.:) Scott, it took me less time to "fix" john-g's post for you...than it took you to make a post complaining about it.

I honestly didn't have any problem reading / comprehending the post.
Anyway, here you go...

Well since you already have a Sabre then you already have the ability to shoot most of the calibers that a M16 will. Just not as sexy maybe?

Ok, true story time. A long time ago i sold a Frankford Arsenal RR M16 for $13,000 and bought (3) M10s, (1) M11 and (1) M11a1 with enough left to deck all but one M10 out with every flavor of Lage goodness. And the one that i didn't Lage out, i sent to AA for the Sabre upper fitting. So for that same $13,000 i got (5) kick-ass MGs, all with the ability to do just about everything that the M16 did.

It's all about what your trying to do. I had a MG that was in my mind getting so valuable that i was getting scared to shoot the damn thing. i don't feel that way about my Macs;-)

Rifle calibers are on the way (thanks to AA for leading the way and a big thank you to Mr Lage for filling that void)...its just a matter of time till someone comes out with a belt fed upper.

If the Shrike, Sabre and the M11/15 all got past ATF, why not a Mac belt fed?

Like i said.... Macs the DIAS of the future

I didn't take Scott's post as a complaint. I read it more as a polite request.

Mac owners may be a bit younger on average than other machinegun owners. I'm 26. But it would be interesting to know the average age of machinegun owners. I was 22 when I bought my First. It was a M10 so I guess I'll have to wait for the M10 version.
