The upper, unloaded, with the optic, is just shy of 2.5 pounds. The steel bolt will add 1.5 pounds.

Unfortunately, a CNC mill is the part I need help with. A few parts are made on a hand lathe. Idk if I'll be able to make the bolt myself on a hand lathe and mill.

I'm not yet sure if I will bring these to market. It largely depends on how much of a pain finding a small run CNC shop will be.

I might make a few and auction them to see how much interest there is.

It should be easily doable to adapt it to other models, but I don't have an M11/9 that I can use for development. I'd need a partner who could let me borrow one.

Why would the 5.7 cartridge, or any cartridge, be incompatible with an open bolt? Cartridges from 22LR up to 50bmg run in open bolt guns.

If you mean direct blowback, the P90 is direct blowback.

No, the P90 bolt is about 1.5 pounds.
