I have 68 pounds (one Home Depot bucket full) of 9mm brass, mostly Winchester with some Federal, and over 200 pounds (4 large buckets full) of 5.56mm brass, mostly Lake City and Privi Partizan. It's all been separated and emptied with no dirt or crap in with the brass.

Is this worth more sold as ammo brass than as scrap brass? They are giving $1.90/pound as scrap.

More importantly, does anyone want to buy it? If so, what's it worth?

Thx.

Definatley worth bagging & shipping on the .556.........people are fighting over that stuff down here in Fla. Might be quicker to box the 9mm in medium flat rate boxes & sell it by the box.

You have about 15K 223 brass there. Aside form trucking it on a pallet to 1 customer a flat rate box is the way to sell it.

Turns out someone local bought the whole lot earlier today. Thanks for the advice, though.

Thanks for the housekeeping, Dave.

Not much - 2.05/lb.

BUT...I got rid of it all at once and I needed the space badly. Very limited garage space and I didn't want to dick around with some sold here and now, sold sold there and then, more sold later and elsewhere.

Good to hear you moved it, I would have paid that plus shipping. However I just snag a couple buckets locally for about the same money. Now for powder......

Yzf do you have a source for brass or was that just years of hoarding? I am in az and am looking to find some and happened by your post a day late! Mayday.

I hope it went to someone who's reloading it, not a scrap heap.
