Len Savage and Historic Arms had some more fun. He always cracks me up.

From Subguns

What do you get when you start with a .380 M11a1 and convert it to 9mm and then put in a Glock magwell...then you add that to a RONI stock???

MAC-a-Roni of course....

The cyclic rate is around 1800-2000 RPM

That M11 is pretty beast. Did they use one of those metal Glock frames you can buy to mate them together?

CCF Race Frame, stainless steel... talked to Len a little over a month ago about doing a M11-9, as I have 40 upper with no sure fire means to feed it (just 1 Sten mag up and running) consistant,, the Glock 40 cal mags share same magwell as the 9mm, so I could ideally feed my 9mm upper with the 33 round G18 mags, and use the Glock 22 round mags for 40, or them Korean 30 round mags.. only hold back is mags in qty for both caliber, and Lens' labor charge of $500, add shipping both way of gun too.

I figuring approx $1300 to step to plate,,, need to do more serious scrapping of copper, aluminum, and brass to cover the cost.. selling stuff on Craiglist is slow to a waste of time..

UZI SBR AWC,

Have you had a chance to hold a CCF grip/M11-9 combo?

When I was making mine, I made a mock up. The CCF grip is a Glock 17 that needs some of the top of the grip removed so it get shorter in height. It feels more like a G19 with very little curve for the web of the hand. I thought long and hard but never could get used to that feel. I eventually abandoned the project.

Marty in UT (Shockwave Technologies) put more curve to his grip to help the feel.

Len added some material for the curve with his welds and I added more to my prototype and still thought there needed to be more. Imagine a Glock with a grip where the slide meets the finger divot.

I still think the concept is good it just needs a better solution than the CCF grip.

I'd love to have a Glock grip on the M-11. I already have a drawer full of G17/18 mags. Just not sure if it's worth the cost or not...

CCF Raceframe does not make the stainless steel frame anymore. They actually didnt work well. I have had a few problems with mine and have been using it for .22 TS Conversion.

They still make the aluminum frames but they would be more difficult to attach to a MAC receiver.

I really like the idea of the Glock grip. My only reservation is that I doubt the Glock 22 mags would work with the Lage 22 kits. If Mag's for that pop up I would definately do it.

It's not chambered in 9mm. It's still chambered in 380. 380 works in 9mm Glock mags.

No, it's a 9mm now. lightened bolt ( M11 9mm subgun bolt with an inch shaved off the back), upgrade buffer and reinforced the frame of the Roni stock, this is my gun, and the idea was a ridiculous space gun, just because we could! Len fixed my worn out mini Uzi and added the Glock lower, and cleaned up my registered B&G bolt to feed from the Glock mags reliably, he did such a great job, I sent him my M11A1 that was jamming too much- not to mention the cost of those original mags! And we just added fun to a little bit of stupid, then had to add the stock to make it safer to shoot- 2000 cycle rate in 9mm is a bit too much for a pistol size subgun.

Len gets backlogged for long periods of time, Curse of a Quality Gunsmith! Leave a message, he will get back to you eventually, its worth the wait. some builds can take years..... enjoy the process and don't focus on the timeline, its gonna be a while ( Should be NFA's new slogan)

You gotta hand it to Len. I think his innovations inspired the 90s term "thinking outside of the box." Kudos to Mr. Savage.
