Lage new .22 upper

Mr Lage I hate to bother you but is there any way you could throw us a nugget in reference to where you're at on the new .22 Upper. I know I can't be the only one wanting to know.

Good luck! My experience has been that there can be considerable variation in the dimensions of Ruger 10/22 pattern magazines - even some of those that have come from Ruger. I've given up on getting mags that work reliably in Ruger 10/22 rifles, as well as an Intratec pistol, and a Fleming M11-380 upper. I find or modify mags to fit the firearm, and mark the mags accordingly.

Good luck! My experience has been that there can be considerable variation in the dimensions of Ruger 10/22 pattern magazines - even some of those that have come from Ruger. I've given up on getting mags that work reliably in Ruger 10/22 rifles, as well as an Intratec pistol, and a Fleming M11-380 upper. I find or modify mags to fit the firearm, and mark the mags accordingly.

The old SINGLE STACK ramline 30s run great.. they were long and skinny from the early 80s and they are pretty hard to find now. They replaced them in the mid 80s with the compact ramline double stack design, the compact 30s (the TEC-22 factory mag is one of these, made by Ramline for Intratec) and 50s are junk and don’t work and neither do any of the other brands I’ve tried including the Ruger BX25 mags, but the early 80s long skinny single stack Ramlines are 100% reliable in my experience as long as they’re in good shape. Only problem is that they like to split in half down the middle over time. Some of them were black on one side, clear on the other, and others were solid black. If you can find one in good shape that still has decent spring tension, it’s worth picking up and trying it out. Over many years of experimenting with various mags from old condors to new rugers, these are the only mags for the 10/22 and TEC-22 that have ever consistently run smoothly for me.

I've got some recent production 32 round (that really only work with 30) ProMag 10/22 stick mags that are said to be copies of the old Ramlines. They are good for my Ruger !0/22 rifle with the standard stock and Intratec pistol use, but even though functional, too awkwardly long for the Fleming upper (unless one wants to hold the gun gangsta style). Even Ruger BX25s are somewhat awkward in the Fleming upper.
