Lage Max 15 brass life

Does anyone have any information they could share on how the various Lage Max 15 uppers treat brass from a reloading perspective? I’ve always heard open bolt MGs are really hard on brass and curious if that holds true for the Lage unit.

Haven't tried it yet.
Have 1500 rounds from it so far.

Really can't be any worse then my 556 AK that chamber is so loose and the brass swells so bad I have to run it through a single stage 2x to get it sized.
But it like the Lage 10/15 runs 100%

The 10/15 upper I have can't be any worse, can it?

As long as the gas is adjusted correctly I have not noticed any difference between the MAX15 and a AR/M16 as far as damaged or stretched brass goes

It's an AR barrel so I'd expect it to be similar to an AR or M16. Havnt noticed anything funny with brass out of mine yet.

I've stopped collecting brass out of my MAX-11/15. I was collecting all brass, but now it likes to tear brass in half nearly every range session. Brass was failing on it's second or third reload. I get 2 or 3 every 500ish rounds or so. Gas is set to one click above where it won't run reliably.

I'd your chamber rough? I had those issues with rough chambers and worn extractors. Little extra scrubbing when cleaning usually helped pretty good.

Clean chamber. Never had an issue extracting. I just assumed it was tough on brass.

The brass in my mags gets ejected really fast. Doesn’t last long.
