We are discontinuing the M-11/22 and MAX-11/22 kits after this run. It has taken 2 years to get 100 people on the list. We used to sell 50 a month. We are well past peak sales. We made 200 kits, when they are gone, they are gone. I am the only one in the shop who builds the kits and my time is needed in new product development. We will continue to support the kits with service and repairs.

How long do you think it will take you to get through everyone still on the list? I think I was number 161 when I got on it.

I just got on the list this week. Jackie said I was #119 and they should have it done in 6 weeks.

Is it official? These are really the last run?

From the horses mouth. No more Lage .22 kits for the M11/Nine after this batch. Never is sometimes never but given the amount of personal "love" required on Richard Lage's part to get these produced, I don't see an exception being made. That dude is pretty busy on another project that I've been personally and vigorously riding his ass about! ;-)

YOU would go there! :)

I'm just trying to get our post retirement jobs lined up Chili...I'm gonna be head lower nail engineer (taking care of Jackie's toenail paint color selection)...I think yer slotted for flat surface engineer (sweeping the floors). Todd is reportedly gonna be the fender licking engineer for the i8.

You’re a real prince for putting together this group buy Jake.
In my opinion, the Lightning Grip is worth every penny at the full retail price and the group by makes it that much sweeter. If you don’t use the loader, you run the risk of rim lock, and I suspect many people don’t know that’s what may be causing their malfunction problems. I also own an adapter for my S&W 11-15 and it works fantastic. You’ll like it.

I maybe missing something but how is this beneficial to me doing a group buy vs me ordering from McFadden?

I have had there lightning loader for a few years and works great. I do need to get a m11/22 adapter tho.

Just trying to figure out how this is more beneficial to me over ordering direct.

I ordered direct from mcfadden a few days ago. Cost exactly 40 dollars shipped with the lage adapter fwiw

I have the loader so guess it will be just as good for me to order from them. All I need is the adapter.

I have the adapter for the 15-22 and MP22 compact and works great. The clip loader for the Ruger Mk series and buckmarks are nice as well.

These are really great loaders. Great CS from them.

Thank you Jake for doing this. That is a better price than I've paid.

The 15-22 adapter is fantastic.

I've now owned 3 LGL loaders (my 8yr old son has a tendency to get excited and break them) and 4 different Lage mag adapters. I will say that some of the adapters for the Lage/BDM mags are fussy and require a learning curve with the operation. I still think rim lock while loading the mags is still the #1 cause of FTFs in the kits. Proper attention is required when loading mags.

We discussed different techniques back in the day.

Like Vegas SMG keeps telling us, "buy MG stuff while you can because it doesn't last forever". The M11/9 with a M11/22 kit is the cheapest fun you can have with MG's by far.

Stock up on magazines too. I mean it.

Cheapest? Not so sure about that. As problematic as it usually was, and as much as the kit cost, I was able to shoot a LOT of 9mm before offsetting it. Part of why I got rid of it. The 22 kit was basically a toy.

I rarely even switch back to 9mm now that I can shoot 5.56 with 100% reliability.

About the only appeal getting back into a 22 kit would offer, is that soon they won't be made any more.

It's about a 8000 round break even point. The difference between 22LR and 9mm is $5/box of 50 rounds ($2 vs $7 for cheap but not the bottom of the barrel ammo). The kit is $600, add $200 for some extra mags and postage and you're going to spend at least $800. That's 160 boxes or 8000 rounds. I have that much and more through mine so I'm ahead. Mine runs great. I have very few failures and most of those are the 22 rounds with missing primer material in parts of the rim. You might have gotten a bad one or it needed some 'polishing'.

5.56 ammo is more expensive that 9mm per round and the Lage upper is $3000. Certainly one shoots that for the different experience of the rifle cartridge, not the money saved. Same for the 22 kit, it's a different experience. With a can I can shoot it without hearing protection. It sounds like a woodpecker.

Email sent. Thanks for putting this deal together Jake, I know how much work this can turn into.
This will be my second LG loader. My first one is still functional but has an ever growing crack around the "trigger" housing. It has loaded thousands of rounds but it's days are numbered.

Also got put on the list for another M-11/15 kit. Do I need a second M-11/22 kit? Absolutely not, but Mr. Lage must have paid attention in Marketing 101: Nothing drives demand for a product like telling people they can't get anymore.

Please purchase direct from the manufacturer.
