Hello:

Well today I got my "Gun Show Uzi Special" back from Richard at BWE...Of course I just HAD to take time away from hammering to see if it ran..well 150 rounds later and NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM...

I am very, VERY happy with the work Mr Hoffman did to my "gun show special"..Apparently he had to relieve the inside of the bolt as it was dragging on the barrel ring/feed ramp and of course re-weld the feed ramp into the reciever (it fell out during a function check..very poor weld with no penetration at all)...

It just works great. I also threw in 5 Sterling mags for re-parkerizing and they all came out beautifully...He was an absolute delight to talk to and work with...

Thank you all who suggested him and most of all thank YOU Richard...

I too have submitted my Uzi to Richard, it is great to have a place where so many folks have recommended his craftsmanship and attention to detail, looking forward to the time I can fire mine like Jim!

I am sure you will find dealing with Richard a real hoot...he knows these things inside and out...

Pics of the weld he did will follow shortly... as soon as I get some time...he did a wonderful job on the welds..the beads are long and beautiful...100x better than the original IMI ones were...

Baby Back Home!

Holy Crap Batman,

I just got a call from Richard Hoffman, BWE, we are in the home stretch, he got the stamped feed ramp replaced with the machined version, and he's going to work on .22 Cal conversion to make it slow fire, when all is done he's going to Parkerize the whole rifle.

I'm as excited as I was when the Stamps arrived for the rifle and suppressor.

Thank you Richard for the great news!!

Remember I got me a Remington 1100 that I want you to work your magic on as well!

Tom
