I just thought I might share some photos of the James River Armory Gallant Gen. II. It feels very good. Little bit of slop in the handguard retainer which I believe they mentioned in the product description and is common. The action is smooth but can get hung up when slowly riding the bolt carrier home. I'm sure that will be broken in and smoothed out with some live firing. The milled cutouts by the magwell also seem very rough, but they're that way on my CNC-receiver Type 3 AK as well. I guess it's not supposed to be smooth?
