Hey Guys,

What's the deal with the circle P and triangle on the bolt? One of my Vectors is exactly the same and the other one doesn't have them? Is there a way to positively identify original Vector Uzi parts? I've read the Vector Uzi history article, but haven't found anything related to Vector Uzi parts identification?

Also, anyone know where I can get full size Uzi manuals like the ones that came with the Vector?

BTW: My Vector mags did not come in a bag and don't have any markings on them.

Thanks,
Gunman

As to the circle P, etc.. it is the proof mark and indicates it was made in Pretoria, South Africa by Lyttleton Engineering. Check out this magazine article on the Vectors linked in the UziTalk Libarary for more on the Vectors... (scroll down, about 1/2 way on Page 1)

Is this the type of UZI SMG manual, you're referring to as "full size"? Check out item # U070 in this hyper-link from Uzigunparts.com http://www.uzigunparts.com/manuals.html My Vector came with the tan one, if not the one (tan) he has several others on the page that might be what you're looking for? Good luck!

The article makes me want to know why so many Vector Uzis don't have the circle P on their bolts.. If you check out the Vectors on Sturm, Subguns, Gunbroker, etc., it's obvious that most of the Vectors don't have the circle P...

The original Vector manual I'm missing is the same one shown in OP's pictures. Yes, it is the tan one... Thanks for the link.
