Welcome to the forum. If you have documented proof that Jeff Miller built it, then it's going to be worth more than your typical kit build, but not as much as a factory built rifle. That said, it's a really thin market. I searched GunBroker's history and found nothing for sale or that has sold that was made by him. Regardless, now is the time to sell. Put it up on GunBroker with a ton of pictures and all documentation. You'll get good money for it.

With the current market I would start at asking for $1500. Some may feel that is a bit low, but it is not an IMI Galil. Just my 2 cents.

I am not sure if Boscoman’s suggestions at $1,500 is just a starting point for a GB auction. Jeff’s builds sell at no less than $2,000 depending on the model and engraving. I would buy Jeff’s builds at $1,500 all day long, especially in this market.

Well, like I said other may feel (& know) better than me.

If you are going to sell go high. Can always start high & go down. Sure as hell can't start low & go high. I just don't see it going for more than a new ACE, but I sure could be wrong.

Most folks I’d think are going to have $2000-$2500 in one of his SAR builds, with all the trimmings (Nice kit, receiver, barrel, new night sights, IDF engraving, lightening cut(s), optics cut, nitride finish.). Current market, 3kish?

What’s the scoop on the emblem/crest? I have not seen that one previously, very curious.

The pictured crest is different than the traditional IDF crest and the Tzahal he normally does. I’ve seen a different one he does on the right side of some Micros also but the crest pictured is a totally new one to me. Very curious as to what/who it is associated with.

value is pretty simple- current cost of parts kit, barrel, rec. and build labor/ refinishing.
kit= $325.00-$375.00 w/ shipping.
rec.= $499.00 + shipping.
barrel= $ no idea as no one seems to have any in stock and I can't remember what this one has on it.
build, engraving, scope cut and nitride as of last year= $1050.00.

most sellers usually add a little over the top as i'm not the fastest turtle at the race and some folks don't want to wait.

the owner explained the crest to me at the time but I forget the back ground on it- pretty sure I only did the one though.

I have been unable to find the crest in any search on IDF insignia or crests. I'm wondering if it was basically his own creation. Either way it is a nice touch & looks good.
