Thanks for the welcome Rover. Just discovered this forum recently. Usually hang around the 50 BMG boards. Mostly a rifle shooter. Bench rest is my game. Uzi's don't reach out far enough, LOL. Have had this piece for over 18 years, mostly a safe queen. Also have 2 RPB Mac 9 mm OB's. Also safe queens.

Lots of new members coming out on this question. Add me to the list. I just inherited a Model A from my father who purchased it in the early 80's. It is 20XXX and has the swivel restricted to 90 degrees.

I am looking for some articles on proper love and maintenance for my new toy if anyone has any good links please pass 'em on. I'd like to keep this thing alive to pass on to my kids.

Welcome pingdashf. Yes, it's nice to see all the new members chiming in here.

There's not too much you have to do to keep an UZI in working order other than keep it clean and lubricated. Do a search on those two topics and you'll come up with some old threads were people discuss it. I'm also trying to get a FAQ put together on this topic.

Not about an IMI UZI but kind of different.
I have had 2 Group receivers completed by Vector, one about a year or so ago the last one just arrived.
The one I had completed first goes 360 degrees, the most recent one goes 90 degrees....

So far it looks like they changed over somewhere between 23,000 and 26,800.

Hello All:

Brand new member here and brand new Uzi owner. Lots of good info on this board. I used it a lot in doing my due diligence prior to purchasing my carbine this morning.

IMI Model A - Serial #21xxx - 90 degrees.
