Mine is a Model A, RR converted prior to 86.

SN is SA 08XXX, It only turns 90 degrees,

So, what are the differences in the receivers used? I read through the liabrary and it mentioned the Sear holes? Any idea when mine was made?

Thanks Pat

I'm doing a little research on the Model A UZI receivers and would like to poll you guys for some data. The earlier Model A receivers were actually made from Israeli SMG receivers and the front sling swivel on them only rotates 90 degrees.

That would have been made in 1981. Except for the sling swivel rotation being restricted, the receiver would be the same as any others. Any changes to things like sear holes would have been done as part of the full auto conversion.

SA 152XX - 90 degrees.

I am guessing mine was made in 1981. Does anybody know what range the serial numbers for 1982 started at? :D

My cousin has a Model A as well, I'll check in with him.
