505XXX turns 360 degrees

Silly me, I just realized that mine doesn't matter, as it's not IMI. OOps!

I'm new to the site and here's my first post. Two Model A's with a pivot of 90degrees...

I'm a lifelong gun owner, but just recently joined the Uzi world when I purchased a two new-in-the-box IMI 9mm Semi-Auto Uzi's with consecutive 4-digit serial numbers SA 06XXX. They were bought from a family member of the original owner and have sat unused since they were bought (I assume in 1980). I got them a week ago, so I'm on the journey to learn more about them and to figure-out what to do with them since I'm NOT a firearms collector, I'm an enthusiast and a shooter. I'm looking forward to learning more about the Uzi and actually shooting one of them in January.

i'm almost 10yrs late to this thread but i'll play too - my IMI Uzi Model A, serial# SA348XX turns 360 degrees.

I'm also curious is anyone has retrofitted their front swivel with a modern QD Swivel? Not sure how difficult this would be?

IMI, Action Arms, Model A, serial SA 014XX. 90 degrees.

Also on early Mod A guns, the numbering and lettering are a smaller size than later Model A's.
