:welcome manwiththegoldengun. Whew, and that'll be the last time I type out your full name :rolleyes . There is a way to tell some parts by the toolmarks on them. You can take a look at the magazine tool mark thread in the reference area to get an idea what they look like. Not every part has a toolmark though. I've seen toolmarks on the following parts; receiver, lower, bayonet, barrel, trunnion, sear, ratchet pawl, top cover, grips (all 4), and cocking knob slot cover. You're right about many of the advertised parts kits, many are for the FA guns only. I don't know of anyone that keeps a reliable stock of IMI 45 parts kits. Have you gone through all the dealers in the parts dealers thread in the links forum? I'd try Numrich, CDNN, Botach, and Vector first. Remember, there are only a few parts that are specific to the caliber, all the rest are the same as on a 9mm. Those parts are barrel, mag, and bolt assembly. Karl.
