I am about to sell my .45 conversion kit and was wanting to properly ID it before I sell it. I bought it from Vector in 2002 and just never use it. How do you tell if you have a IMI or a Group Industries bolt? How about the barrel? It has ".45" on it and the barrel. Thanks!

Regarding the bolts, I've attached a pic of a Group vs IMI bolt. You can see the markings of the Group bolt. The IMI bolts are also stamped .45 ACP on the ejection port side of the bolt. Group bolts are also clearanced for the barrel restrictor ring.
Also note that Vector recently started modifying 9mm bolts into .45 bolts which required welding up the underside of the bolt but since you mention getting your kit back in 2002, then I doubt yours is one of those converted 9mm bolts.

Is there a way to tell who made my barrel? It has "45 ACP" stamped about 2 inches behind the muzzle.

I have a IMI 16" barrel that was chopped to 10.25.... it has a "45acp" stamped in the left side of the barrel a little in front of the barrel flange.

The barrel is really smooth, with light texture of the finish, shiny chamber and 6 groove/land with left hand twist.

My IMI 45 semi bolt (1988) has no marking, looks just like the 9mm bolt, with larger face for case head.
